At Rider University, our commitment to shaping ground-breaking business leaders runs deep. Since our founding in 1865 as Trenton Business College, we have planted our roots in educating innovators who shape the future. For over 140 years, Rider has continuously invested in our students, helping them transform their passion into practical skills and enact real-world change.

Our Norm Brodsky College of Business upholds this tradition of engaged learning, academic excellence and personalized support. Why pursue a business education at Rider?

Experience Engaged Learning

At Rider, you dive into Engaged Learning from day one. In our signature Business in Action program, you’ll collaborate with classmates to pitch, fund and run real businesses — gaining entrepreneurial skills and leadership experience early on.

Outside the classroom, you can be a part of our on-campus Saxbys café, which is entirely student-run and led by a student CEO. As an active participant, you handle the day-to-day business operations, decision-making and team management, allowing you to implement your theoretical knowledge.

The Business Living Learning Community (LLC) lets first-year business students live together in a cohort and engage in peer mentoring. Students live together in a residence hall and participate in guided activities.

Rider’s tight-knit community also offers close ties to prestigious industry leaders. Through our faculty and alumni, you have access to Fortune 500 companies, local non-profit organizations, regional organizations and governmental entities.

These opportunities, along with many in-class experiences, bring your education to life and spur professional development.

A career-focused approach

Prepare to lead by studying at Rider. The Norm Brodsky College of Business programs give you the skills to succeed across sectors — from global corporations to family-owned businesses. Here, you dive into curricula integrating theory and practice, ensuring you have robust industry knowledge and strong communication and problem-solving competencies.

We also provide additional support to help you land business internships and co-ops that transform your career trajectory. With our strategic location just a few miles from Trenton and Princeton, 35 miles north of Philadelphia, and 60 miles south of New York City, you can access exciting professional opportunities in one of the nation’s most dynamic regions.

As you progress through your program, you receive unwavering support from our Office of Career Development and Success, which offers personalized career coaching to jumpstart your professional future.

Accessible education pathways

Whether you’re beginning your first year of college, transferring from another institution or returning to finish your degree, Rider offers flexible, affordable degree pathways that help you achieve your long-term goals.

Planning to pursue a graduate degree? We can fast-track your success. Our 4+1 graduate program options empower you and other motivated students to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in just five years. It is possible to apply to the graduate business program after completing 90 credits in a Rider undergraduate business degree program. You may also qualify for direct admission to select graduate business programs, saving time and money.

You can also receive generous tuition discounts by achieving higher grades:

  • 30% reduction on graduate tuition for eligible undergraduate accounting majors with a 3.2+ GPA.
  • 20% reduction on graduate tuition for students who enter the M.B.A. or M.S. in information systems programs directly from their undergraduate studies with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
