Miles Talent Hub Admitted Students

You will receive instructions via email within a few days of your admission when your RIDER KEY is ready to claim. 

RIDER KEY allows students to access technology services available to the Rider community. To claim your RIDER KEY account go to myrider.rider.edu and follow the steps below: 

• Click "If you have not claimed your RIDER KEY, do that here." 
• Enter your Bronc ID, last name, and date of birth.
• Read and accept Rider University’s Rights and Responsibilities of Users policy.
• Retrieve your username. Please take note of this username and keep it in a safe place. You will use it to log into your myRider portal and for your Rider email.
• Set up your security questions.
• Create your Rider Key password.

Please wait 5 minutes before attempting to use your new RIDER KEY password. 

To make your non-refundable deposits online, you’ll need to access your myRider student portal. Enter your domain username ([email protected]) and RIDER KEY password and follow the steps below: 

• Locate the "Student Finances" section and click "iPay".
• Select a term and deposit option. Click “Select”.
  • If you will be living on campus at Rider, select the term with the tuition and housing deposit.  For example, “Fall - Tuition and Housing $400).
  • If you will be living off campus, select the term with the tuition deposit only. For example, “Fall - Tuition Only ($200)
• Verify your choices and click “Continue”.
• Select your payment method (credit card or electronic check) and click "Continue".  
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your payment based on your payment type. 
• Confirm your payment information and click "Submit Payment".  
• You will receive a confirmation email. 

If you submit a housing deposit, you will receive an email from the Office of Residence Life with more information about accessing the housing portal and submitting a housing application.

On the Be-A-Bronc Applicant Dashboard please submit: 

• A copy of your passport;
• A completed International Student Supplement;
• Proof of funds showing that you have financial support for an entire year of study.

Once your I20 has been issued, you may apply for your F-1 visa. Visit rider.edu/visa for more information.

To access your Rider email, visit the Gmail login page. Your email username is the same as your RIDER KEY and should be entered as your full Rider email account name (e.g., [email protected]). Your initial password is your 9-digit Bronc ID followed by the MMDD of your birthday. For example, if your Bronc ID is 001234567 and your birthdate is March 15, your default password is 0012345670315.

Submit the required forms to the Student Health Center using the Healthy Broncs Portal.

For questions related to vaccination and immunization requirements, please contact the Student Health Center. Students may be considered for medical or religious-based exemptions provided they submit their requests by the published deadline. 

All international students are required to have health insurance. Visit rider.edu/insurance-costs for more information. 

If you were admitted conditionally based on unofficial documents, you most provide official documents prior to the start of the semester in order to begin classes. Conditions are outlined in your admission letter and may include conditions such as: 

• Submit your final transcript with degree conferred. 
• Submit official transcripts from non-degree granting institutions.
• Submit official test scores.

• Log into myRider and click “Student” on the top left of the page.
• Locate the “Student Finances” section and click "Financial Agreement to Enroll".
• Click “Financial Agreement" and review the Financial Agreement information.
• Once you have read and understand the financial agreement click “I Agree to the terms & conditions” or “I disagree/Return to Registration page”. You will not be cleared to register until the financial agreement is accepted.

If you are living on campus, you must complete this document at least one day prior to your arrival. If you will be residing off campus, you must complete this document prior to the first day of classes. 

Every student will have a hold on their student account that will only be removed once this agreement is signed. Students who do not agree to the financial agreement are unable to be registered for courses.

As a Miles Talent Hub student, you will be automatically registered for classes. Your course schedule will be ready to review prior to the start of the semester. 

To view your course schedule:

• Log into myRider and click “Student” on the top left of the page.
• Locate the “Registration Tools” section and click “Student Profile”.
• Click “Student Profile” again on the next screen.
• Click “Student Courses and Weekly Schedule” on the left side menu.

For a nominal fee, Rider University offers airport pick-up from Newark International Airport (EWR) during specific days for all international students who will be living on campus. If you would like to schedule your pick-up, fill out the Airport Pick-Up Request Form. You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your request. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours, please contact us at [email protected]. We can only guarantee your airport pick up if you submit the Airport Pick-Up form.
