myRider Portal

The myRider portal is a personalized hub that allows Rider students quick access to available campus web services and resources. To access myRider, visit myrider.rider.edu, click Claim Your RIDER KEY and enter the information requested.

In order to claim your account, you will need to enter your Bronc ID, last name, and date of birth. You will then be prompted to set up your password and security questions.

A Rider email is created for new students after you have submitted your tuition deposit.

To access your Rider email account, go to gmail.rider.edu. 

Enter your Username and Password. Your Username is the same as the one you use to access your myRider portal, followed by @rider.edu, so it is entered as [email protected].

Your password has been set as a default, using your 9-digit Bronc ID and the month and day of your birthday. (Your Bronc ID can be found at the bottom of your acceptance letter.) EX: If your Bronc ID number is 000000001 and your birthday is May 1, your default password is 0000000010501.

Once you gain access, be sure to start checking your Rider email frequently! All future communications from Rider will be sent to your student email account.

Orientation introduces new students to life as a Rider Bronc. This fun-filled and informative event offers opportunities for you to get to know your classmates and prepare for a successful transition to college life.

Important information regarding New Student Orientation

• Orientation is mandatory. Students must select one orientation date to attend. 
• Students have a choice of attending a single day or overnight orientation session.
• Orientation is for students only. For the overnight sessions, families may rejoin their students for lunch in the Cavalla Room in the Bart Luedeke Center (BLC) at the end of the 2nd day. 
• Students should complete all placement testing prior to Orientation.

Review and Satisfy Your Semester Bill 

University statements for all semesters as well as monthly statements will be addressed to students and sent to their Rider email address. Parents and other payers, if applicable, may view student’s e-bills and make payments if they are set up as an authorized user.

Waive/ Enroll Health Insurance 

All full-time domestic students are required to have comprehensive health insurance coverage. You must WAIVE or ENROLL in the student health insurance plan each academic year.

Fall 2023 enrolling students must waive or enroll in Rider's student health insurance plan for the academic year by August 31, 2023. 

Find and complete your health forms

Rider University requires all students enrolled to provide proper vaccination documentation prior to taking classes and/or moving on campus. Students should submit proof of vaccination via the Healthy Broncs portal as soon as they are able to or once deposited. For Fall 2023 enrollment, proof of all routine vaccinations must be submitted via the Healthy Broncs portal no later than July 15, 2023. Please review the pre-entrance health requirements for incoming students here. Students seeking an exemption due to a medical or religious reason, are to be requested by July 15, 2023.

Information regarding medical and religious exemptions can be found on the Student Health Center website. Exemptions must be submitted via the Healthy Broncs portal.

All students are required to sign the Financial Enrollment Agreement, which can be found on the myRider portal. 

Acknowledgement of this agreement is required as a condition of enrollment for the fall semester, and it must be completed even if you have already completed your Financial Agreement to Register (enroll).

The deadline to complete this document is no later than the day prior to your arrival on campus if you will be a residential student, or the first day of classes, if you are a commuter student or taking online classes only. Every student will have a hold on their student account that will be only removed once this agreement is signed. 

Please see detailed instructions on how to navigate through myRider to find and sign this document for both a desktop computer as well as a mobile device.

In summary, 

1. Log into myRider and select the Student tab.
2. Click on Financial Agreement under the Announcements banner OR under the Register banner. Both will take you to the same page containing the agreements.
3. Click "Financial Agreement.” This link will bring up the agreement.
4. Review the Financial Agreement to Enroll.
5. Once you have read and understand the Financial Agreement to Enroll, click “I agree to the terms & conditions” or “I disagree/Return to Registration page.”

If you select “I agree to the terms & conditions,” you will see a message, “There are no incomplete Agreements at this time.”

If you select “I disagree/Return to Student tab,” you will be redirected to the link for the Financial Agreement and you will be unable to enroll in the fall semester.

If you have received college credit for any courses taken during your high school career (AP, IB, Dual Enrollment), please send your scores or college transcript directly to the University from your testing center or Institution.

Please refer to college credit for high school students to review our policies   

If you want to change the program of study that you specified on your admission application, please submit a written request to the Office of Undergraduate Admission prior to the start of classes to [email protected].

Incoming first-year students must submit their final high school transcript and transfer students must submit official college transcripts upon completion of any courses in progress.

Please arrange to have all final official academic transcripts (including any recently completed academic work) forwarded to the Office of Undergraduate Admission by August 1, 2023 for Fall 2023 enrollment or as soon as available.
