If you are a FULL-TIME employee:
for study at Rider University:
- employee: Full remission for study at the graduate or undergraduate level, after 3 months' employment, study limited to 9 undergraduate credits or 6 graduate credits, summer session limits are 6 credits for each of the two summer sessions
- child*: Full remission for undergraduate study, 50% remission for graduate study, through age 23 only, full-time or part-time, after 1 year's employment
- spouse: Full remission for undergraduate study, 50% remission for graduate study, after 1 year's employment
for study outside Rider University:
- employee: No remission
- child*: (Emp hired before 1/1/1997), up to 40% of Rider's tuition for undergraduate study, limited to 4 academic years, through age 23 only, full-time undergraduate only, no summer remission
- spouse: No remission
If you are a PART-TIME employee:
for study at Rider University:
- employee: Full remission for undergraduate study or graduate study, after 6 months' employment, study limited to 9 undergraduate credits or 6 graduate credits, summer session limits are 6 credits for each of the two summer sessions
- child*: Remission for one 3-credit undergraduate course, fall and spring, after 3 years' employment
- spouse: Remission for one 3-credit undergraduate course, fall and spring, after 3 years' employment
for study outside Rider University
- employee: No remission
- child*: No remission
- spouse: No remission
* Child is defined to mean an unmarried person under age 24, who is the natural child, stepchild or adopted child. In the case of a stepchild or adopted child, the employee must have assumed parental responsibility before the child's 13th birthday.
