- Financial Aid Appointment Days - Visit campus on select Fridays* during Spring 2025 for a one-on-one appointment with a financial aid counselor. These sessions are reserved for Fall 2025 admitted students and their families. *Note: Appointment availability varies by date.
- Virtual Drop-Ins - Click the link to drop into the financial aid Zoom meeting room, no appointment needed! Counselors are available during the following hours:
- Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 3 p.m
- Schedule a virtual appointment at a time that works for your family.
Financial aid next steps
- File Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): If you have not yet done so, complete the FAFSA at studentaid.gov. Send your information to Rider using school code 002628.
- For NJ residents: Complete the FAFSA to be considered for state aid. Visit njgrants.org to confirm the state has your information.
- Review Your Financial Aid Offer: Log in to myRider, navigate to "Student Finances," and select "Financial Aid Portal." Review your award and check for any outstanding requirements.
- Submit Verification Documents: If requested, upload your documents at rider.edu/tuition-verify.
- Report Outside Scholarships: Inform the Office of Financial Aid about any external scholarships or agency payments. Be sure to confirm the payment with the donor or agency. Your aid package may be adjusted based on this information.
- Confirm Your Enrollment Secure your spot at Rider by submitting your tuition and housing deposits.
