About the competition
Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024 and Saturday, January 18, 2025*
*Competition is offered at two on-campus audition dates to be considered for undergraduate music study.
Eligibility: Voice Performance, Music, B.A.M or Music Education, B.A. programs with voice as their primary instrument
Requirements
- Covers full tuition for up to four years (eight semesters) of continuous, full-time, undergraduate study.
- Recipients must participate in the Voice Performance, Music, B.A.M. or Music Education, B.A. programs with voice as their primary instrument for the full four years.
- Students must also maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 Rider grade-point average.
Your scholarship will always cover the cost of tuition, so if tuition increases during the lifetime of the award, the scholarship value will increase accordingly. The total value over four years exceeds $150,000. Because the Voice Competition Scholarship covers full-tuition, it replaces all other scholarships and grants awarded.
