The School Psychology Program meets educational requirements for certification in New Jersey. Because the program is accredited by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), students can apply for the Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential upon graduation. A minimum score of 155 on the Praxis 5403 is required to earn this certification. The NCSP is recognized in the majority of states as a sufficient criterion for issuance of state-level certification. For information regarding requirements in specific states, the student is advised to consult the NASP website: NASP State Level Credentialing Resources.
