The curriculum of the Rider Norm Brodsky College of Business includes optional faculty-led international study tours that students can take for academic credit. Several of these tours have major supply chain components and global supply chain (GSC) majors can obtain three GSC elective credits if they take one of these tours.
International study tours generally occur over the winter and spring breaks, as well as at the end of the academic spring semester. These international study courses and tours are led by two full-time faculty members who accompany students throughout the tour.
Preparations for these study tours include taking classes at Rider both before and after the tours to enhance the quality of the learning experience gained from the tour itself. Students can choose from a variety of tours visiting businesses and governmental agencies in a wide variety of geographies such as Europe, South America and Latin America.
