  • EMPTY & RINSED Steel, tin & aluminum cans (soda, vegetable, fruit & tuna)

Common recycling contaminants that must go in the trash:

• Plastic bags or bagged recycling
• Food items or residue
• Food contaminated paper & cardboard
• Paper towels, napkins, or plates
• Clothing, bedding, or pillows
• Electronic waste
• Non-recyclable Plastic or Styrofoam
• Hazardous waste

Writing Instrument Brigade

Empty pens, highlighters, and markers can be recycled in the Writing Brigade bins located in each Academic building. Items are then sent to Terracycle to be upcycled into new products.

“Recycled Pages” Book Recycling Program

Any unwanted hardcover or paperback books can be recycled in the collection box outside of the campus bookstore in the BLC.

Helpsy On Campus Collection

Donate your old and unwanted clothing behind West Village and Hank and Bonnie Moore Hall in the designated Helpsy receptacles. Acceptable donation items include clothing, shoes, linens, and accessories.
