The Rider University enrollment management division includes undergraduate and graduate recruitment, retention, marketing & communications, financial aid, bursar, one stop services and enrollment data analysis, reporting and planning. The goal of the division is to execute a strategy that will shape and grow the University’s enrollment and student success, lead and work collaboratively, and provide a student-centered focus of Rider’s vision and mission.
Enrollment Management is a key player in the implementation of the University’s strategic plan. The University’s strategic plan goals over the last decade have consistently called for a focus on recruitment and retention of full-time undergraduate students coupled with strategic deployment of financial aid resources.
The Strategic Plan provides the framework for increases in enrollment and retention, as well as the development of new academic programs, improved graduation rates and increased resident student population. Enrollment Management supports the efforts of engaged learning, academic advising, student satisfaction and cultural engagement in an effort to meet the enrollment, retention, and graduation benchmarks outlined.
Enrollment Management is responsible for and works collaboratively to build a dynamic marketing and communications program that integrates marketing, advertising and public relations strategies to raise the University’s profile, position Rider to be a university of choice for students and employees, with name recognition and brand awareness, and emphasize Rider’s value proposition.
Enrollment Management is vital in building tuition and other net revenue to meet capital and operating financial goals.
The Enrollment Management Strategic Plan recognizes the divisional goals that align with Rider University’s overall Strategic Plan, “Our Path Forward”, and will help to forward the institutional goals.
