NFL games, the Grammy Awards, the NBA Draft, concerts and more — Dani DiMeglio ‘08 has had a hand in planning events like these throughout her career. Dani, the director of stadium events and production for the @commanders and @nwstadium, says this season in particular has been one to remember. In addition to managing the team’s 10 home games, her team planned the 125th meeting of the Army vs. Navy game in December. She previously worked at a number of major event venues and organizations, including the Staples Center (now Crypto.com Arena), Barclays Center, Capital One Arena, Golden 1 Center and Live Nation Entertainment. Pursuing a career with a major sports organization was a natural fit for Dani. While earning her bachelor’s in graphic design, she played on the Division I soccer team. She went on to play at the semi-professional level and has dedicated over 15 years to coaching youth and college soccer. She says her time at Rider prepared her with the skills needed to succeed in her career. “Working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, I credit Rider University with helping me develop strong time management and prioritization skills. Any college athlete knows that balancing academics can be just as demanding as enduring three-a-day practices in August or traveling for a game right before a final exam. Learning to navigate these challenges in college shaped me into someone who can effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities as they arise.” #GoBroncs
