How Raquel Bolin found her #HomeAtRider:
"I transferred to Rider University from Tampa, Florida, for my junior year, initially drawn by its Division 1 tennis program and reputable business school. Rider's central location was also a big deciding factor. The easy access to major cities all around the northeast had the potential for abundant career opportunities, which aligned perfectly with my goals.
The intimate campus environment was also a factor when choosing schools to transfer to. I wanted to be somewhere where I could have close relationships with professors and peers, which I truly have found here.
My favorite Rider memory would be that in August of 2023, I had the privilege of traveling with a small group of business students to Oxford University through Rider’s Moonshots and Moneymakers program. It was an amazing and transformative opportunity to network with and learn from successful entrepreneurs from around the world. Not only was the trip an absolute blast, but I also forged lifelong connections.
For anyone considering Rider, my advice would be to fully embrace what the University has to offer. There's always something happening on campus, from various clubs and organizations to networking events and lectures. Also, don't hesitate to explore new opportunities and meet new people. Be open; you never know what new paths you might discover, so seize the moment!"
