How Grace Sturz found her #HomeAtRider : "At first, I knew very little about Rider since I'm from out of state. After visiting, I fell in love with the campus and all of the friendly people I met. Rider has so many wonderful opportunities for growth and leadership. One of the main reasons I ended up going to Rider was because I was accepted into the Rider Bonner Community Scholars program, which I am still a part of today. Being a Bonner Scholar has provided me with a second family on campus. We spend at least 300 hours a year completing community service throughout campus and the surrounding community while also attending leadership meetings with fellow members. The program has pushed me to grow as a person, a student, a leader, and I am incredibly grateful to be a part of something so meaningful. My favorite Rider memory was getting elected as the vice president of programming for Delta Phi Epsilon sorority. I was able to serve a wonderful organization of women and provide educational, social and service opportunities for them to continue to grow. I would highly recommend participating in the Bronc for a Day program if you're interested in attending Rider to get a good feel for campus life, the students and how classes may be for you! Once you're here, get as involved as you can. There are so many wonderful opportunities!" Grace is a senior majoring in organizational psychology. She is a member of @riderbonner and former vice president of programming for @dphierider. Grace is also a learning intern for @riderservicelearning and she volunteers with Rider Votes.
