Biography
I joined the Rider Counseling Center team in 2021 as a clinical intern and was hired as a staff psychologist in 2022. My previous clinical experiences range from inpatient mental healthcare settings, to community mental health, to supporting students at Rider and other colleges such as TCNJ and Ursinus College. I also spent time teaching at a high school dedicated to students who learned better in a specialized environment; specifically, those with learning differences, neurodiversities, disabilities, and special needs. As a former volunteer EMT for over 16 years, I am also dedicated to working with emergency responders in a therapeutic setting. My other areas of passion include working with students with disabilities, personality disorders – and children of parents with personality disorders, and students within the LGBTQ+ community with a specific focus on those who are currently in the questioning stage of their identity, as well as students under the trans, non-binary, and gender fluid umbrella. I enjoy teaching, consulting and supervising, and everything about the college community. In my spare time, I love to cook, read, go exploring, and dote on my turtle, Kevin.
