Please join us to learn more about the various resources provided by the University Library that can help students and faculty research the achievements, heritage, and history of Indigenous Peoples. We will discuss how to explore Indigenous Peoples' traditions, experiences, and history through various formats, including streaming videos, music, images, primary resources, historical newspapers, statistics, scholarly journals, books, ebooks and more. We will be using the Native American Heritage Month Research Guide as our basis for discussion.

This engaging event features a talented Native American storytelling flutist, a dynamic dancer, and a rhythmic drummer, all coming together to create an immersive experience that honors the traditions and histories of Indigenous peoples.

Premiere Event: Dance, Drum, & Dialogue

Join us for Dance, Drum, & Dialogue: A Native American Heritage Month Interactive Experience, where we celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Native Americans through storytelling, music, and dance!

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the significance of the stories shared, enjoy captivating performances, and even join in the movement and rhythm through interactive segments. This is a wonderful chance to connect with the vibrant culture of Native Americans and foster understanding and appreciation within our community.
