Using the Rider Logo
Because the Rider logo is the cornerstone of our visual identity, it’s important that it be used consistently and correctly in all communication efforts to present a unified image to the University’s many audiences.

Some Helpful Tips When Downloading Files
When downloading an electronic logo, it’s very important to use the proper graphic file to achieve a crisp, clean and professional-looking job. For this reason, Rider’s logos are available in a variety of different formats and color builds.
Please keep in mind that:
- Even though they appear to be the same when viewed online, graphic files for printing (high resolution) and for web (low resolution) are not interchangeable! For example, if you copy a low-res logo from a web site for use on a printed job, a blurred image will result.
- Color files for offset printing must specify either Pantone or CMYK inks. The attached files feature Rider's logos four-color (CMYK), two-color (Pantone 201 and Black 6), black and reverse.
- If you are using the logo on a large-sized project (such as a banner, billboard or display unit), please contact the Office of University Marketing & Communications for larger electronic files.
NOTE: In most cases, a PNG file will suffice to produce your job. However, depending on the size or method of reproduction used, you may be asked to provide the logo in a special format, such as TIFF or EPS file. For TIFF or EPS file formats please contact Tiff Bodga, [email protected].
Reverse Applications
Whenever possible, the logo should appear on a white background. On occasion, however, the logo may be printed in reverse (white logo on a solid black or cranberry background). An easy way to tell if the proper reverse application is being used is to ensure that the tree is not white. Do not adjust regular logo art for reverse applications. Also, the logo should never be reversed out of a patterned or busy background. No additional border or rule lines should be included around the shield outline.

Broncs Athletics Logo
In addition to the University’s logos, Rider has adopted an athletics logo that may be used by members of the University community. It features the Bronc, the official mascot of Rider University’s sports teams. Use of this trademarked logo is restricted to athletics-related programs and events. It must be reproduced using authorized digital files with the approved University colors.
