Program overview

Rider’s B.A. in Public Relations will give you the tools behind effective public communication. Students learn all facets of practical campaigns, learning from professionals in the field. In the capstone course, students work with local corporate or nonprofit clients and have the opportunity to participate in the Rider Public Relations Student Society America.

Our program will prepare you to join the next generation of public relations professionals by building your skills in campaign strategy, writing and storytelling, social media, multimedia production and media relations.

Discover how Rider’s close proximity to New York City and Philadelphia, two of the world’s most influential, media-rich cities, and our extensive internship and co-op program provide students with numerous opportunities to gain valuable field experience and academic credit.

Students also have the opportunity to spend a semester in Los Angeles to study and intern with industry professionals while living full-time in the heart of Hollywood's entertainment industry.
