Academic Focus: Psychology

Dr. Ansary is an expert in (1) bullying and cyberbullying prevention and intervention, (2) Muslim and Arab-American mental health, and (3) the intersection of areas one and two. She specializes in conducting research and prevention programming related to the bullying of religious minorities especially as it pertains to the school context. Her publications also focus on vulnerable populations including acculturating families and economically disadvantaged and privileged youth. Dr. Ansary has expertise in constructing surveys, designing and executing quantitative studies, and managing and analyzing longitudinal data. She is also an Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) scholar.
