Rider University’s classrooms are some of the most dynamic and inspiring places you’ll ever be. At Rider, we do more than talk about academic excellence, we create an environment and community that supports and nurtures it – from student-centered classes and master classes to a caring faculty that advises and inspires. See how what happens in the classroom prepares you for a lifetime of discovery.
Academic Excellence
The Princeton Review ranks Rider among the top 366 of all colleges nationwide, and U.S. News and World Report puts us in the top tier of northern universities. And, 97% of Rider graduates are employed or pursuing graduate study within a year of graduation. Bottom line: a Rider education isn’t just rigorous; it’s a testing ground for your success.
Student-Centered Classes
We believe small, personal classes are the perfect environments to hone your listening, team-building and communication skills. Our passionate professors create learning experiences that connect theory with what’s relevant — and challenge you to put it to work.
Academic Support
We believe that a great education supports you throughout your journey. That’s why we provide an array of academic support – from free tutoring and learning labs to summer support, helpful workshops, and counseling.
Artist in Residence / Master Class
Rider connects students to some of the world’s finest performing arts instructors and artists through artist in residence and master class programs, including the CoOPERAtive Program, a three-week intensive program led by voice faculty members with private coaching, focusing on operatic style, performance techniques, dramatic presentation, language and diction, body awareness, and resume and application advice.
