Welcome to the Virtual Market Fair

First-year students in the Norm Brodsky College of Business participate in the Business in Action program. As they learn and develop a foundational understanding of the business environment and business functions, students work in teams to develop and run a small business throughout the semester. They learn how to write a business plan and are provided funds to execute their plan.

Our student run businesses are listed below, click to learn more about their business and purchase products. Alternatively, you can visit the market fair in person on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center Atrium. Happy shopping!

Active Threads

Active Threads crafts high quality t-shirts that empower individuals through our three innovative designs and unique engaging marketing. Our vision is to show someone's individuality via fashionable, reasonably priced clothing that promotes a feeling of belonging.

angels apparel

Our collection of black hoodies and t-shirts will feature the Angel's Apparel logo, available in either black or white. They are available in 3 sizes, medium, large and x-large. Each size offers a comfortable fit for men and women.

Auto Additions

Auto Additions is a kit for people to use for their cars. It includes air fresheners, trash bags, lotion, chapstick, slime to clean the inside of your car, and napkins. This all comes in a cute little bag to keep in the glove compartment of your car.

Brewed Awakening

We are selling tumblers that can be customized with people's names on them. The colors are added to the tumblers by heat pressing them with a tumbler heat press machine.

Bronc Bevz

Stainless steel cups that promote sustainability, school spirit, and a sense of belonging. These cups keep water cold and hot for hours! We have 3 different sizes of cups which include a 40oz, 20oz, and a 12oz cup!

At Bronc Bros Apparel we strive to produce the most affordable college-based t-shirts that are comfortable, stylish, and designed with our custom designs for Rider students and staff.

Here at FUSE, we offer high-quality, aesthetically pleasing essential oil diffusers. Our diffusers blend innovative LED technology with a "flame" mist design, and cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our customers.

Our product is a $10 mystery box. It's packed with souvenirs that holds a surprising treasure...every 10 boxes include a gift card!

Makes Scents

Makes Scents is a divergent company that provides an alternative to basic air fresheners. The rope design allows effective use of the product, while the glass jar and lid enhances the scents of the leaking essential oils.

OUTLOOK is dedicated to celebrating diversity through designed T-Shirts and Tote bags. Our identity lies in the ferris wheel- a symbol of ever-changing panorama of viewpoints. Happiness beings with understanding life. Here is where happiness begins.

Peace by Piece

Our goal is to promote unity between all cultures, ethnicities and races. We want to bring people together through their differences and show to the world that we are stronger together. Our logo is a representation of this message.

Project Summer

Project Summer was created to promote an enjoyable tie-dying experience for our Rider community to express themselves in their own unique way. Come tie-dye your own beach towel on March 21 or April 9! Pre-made tie-dye beach towels are also available to buy throughout the semester.

Rider i create

We offer customizable glass mugs that are lead free, dishwasher safe, and can handle hot beverages. iCreate also offers stickers with designs from local campus iCreate art competition winners that customers can use to accessorize their cups.

Rider Threads

Rider Threads: stylish, comfy, and affordable clothing with embroidered designs. Spring launches feature flower and butterfly motifs in various colors for female students, and a gender-neutral rain design for those seeking simplicity.

Smells Like Candles

Producing high-quality and homemade soy wax candles that give off vibrant and exclusive scents. Seasonal smells coupled with pop-culture celebrity scent candles will produce long-lasting candles, creating fresh aromas worldwide.

Spray Style

We are selling shirts where the buyer gets to design it themselves. Using cloth spray paint and stencils provided by us, the buyer can design their own unique shirt for only $20. Visit our pop up stand and get creative!

Team Tote

Our product is canvas tote bags in two colors, black and natural. The designs on our bags include the Rider logo and custom designs we have created ourselves. We also plan on taking custom orders and putting other people's designs on them.

Eco-friendly and fashionable, our black tote and drawstring bags with a unique logo are the bags our customers would like to use every day. With a distinctive style, elevate your look and design to make a statement wherever you go.

The Business in Action program is made possible thanks to the generous sponsorships of Rider alumni and friends. A portion of the teams’ profits are donated to charitable organizations that the students choose, and the other 50% is reinvested into the program to support future activities of the Business Living & Learning Community.
