Kiarrah came to Rider in search of an academic experience that would prepare her for her future in health sciences. Once she arrived on campus, she was immediately drawn to Rider's strong sense of community, and later grew to appreciate how the University embraced collaboration, dedication and diversity. Here, Kiarrah was not only a student but a member of a learning environment that encouraged excellence and fellowship.
My "Anatomy and Physiology," "Exercise Physiology" and "Kinesiology" classes taught me a lot of information that I still apply today, and I enjoyed the hands-on experience in these classes. Also, my dedication and perseverance in these challenging classes allowed me to develop a strong passion for a future career in rehabilitation."

Rider's impact on Kiarrah's career
Kiarrah finds herself using the information she learned at Rider in her job today. The courses she took and the on-campus jobs that she held gave her the opportunity to gain experience in health and wellness. She worked as a sports medicine assistant in Rider's Athletic Training Clinic and a health ambassador for the Department of Recreational Programs. These experiences and her research work at Rider led Kiarrah to develop a strong passion in the rehabilitation field for sports medicine.
Continued success
Kiarrah is currently working towards a master's degree in athletic training from Thomas Jefferson University as a student in Rider's 4+2 program with the university. She believes her coursework, on-campus employment and research experiences with Rider faculty have provided her with the skills and knowledge to succeed in graduate school and in her future career.
