Kaitlin came to Rider with a specific interest in the Master’s in Applied Psychology program, looking to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The Applied Psychology in Applied Behavior Analysis graduate program is designed for students looking to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBA®). Kaitlin was excited to use behavior analytic assessment and interventions to help her foster success in her career. She had an admissions interview prior to being accepted into the program where she fell in love with the campus community and welcoming faculty. Not only did she receive the academic challenge that she was looking for at Rider, but also felt that her success was fostered by her incredibly knowledgeable professors.
Due to the education I received at Rider, I was able to come out as a well rounded BCBA and obtain a great job as a supervisor for an ABA agency.
Kaitlin’s time at Rider as a graduate student, gave her the opportunity to explore her interests in helping people through modifying their behavior patterns. After receiving her masters degree in Applied Psychology, she successfully passed the BCBA®exam. Kaitlin saw great benefit from the caring faculty that helped guide her towards her successful career. She now works as a supervisor for an ABA agency and credits her time at Rider University, in helping her become a well rounded professional.
Kaitlin opened her own business, K.W. Behavioral Consulting, LLC which provides ABA therapy to children with autism. “My business continues to grow more successful each year. The Applied Psychology ABA program at Rider gave me the tools to become a competent behavior analyst.” Kaitlin is thankful for her education at Rider University and being able to work with experienced and educated faculty. “(My professors) really expanded my skill set, which I know is a big reason I have been able to run a successful business”.
