Why Hailee chose Rider
After earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology, Hailee knew she wanted to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with unique behavioral challenges including those with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities and those in need of neurological rehabilitation. Her employer, Bancroft, presented her with the opportunity to pursue a graduate degree from Rider University — plus specialized credentialing as a behavior analyst.
Through the Rider-Bancroft partnership, Hailee could learn alongside fellow employees in an intimate, cohort-based program limited to 20 students. Being able to study applied behavior analysis at a respected institution while applying what she was learning to her daily practice provided her with greater knowledge than she ever dreamed.

Rider's impact on Hailee's career
Earning her M.A. in Applied Psychology at Rider had an immediate impact on Hailee’s career. “Rider allowed me to soar to new heights,” she says. “My time at Rider played an integral part in advancing my knowledge as an ABA practitioner. I was able to pass my boards soon after graduation, and move into my current role at Bancroft.”

Hailee is currently a Behavior Analyst at Bancroft's Lindens Neurobehavioral program which is a program that helps children and adolescents with acute behavioral challenges. She manages a small caseload and recommends behavioral interventions with the aim of reducing challenging behaviors in individuals. She, along with her team, complete functional analyses and develop highly specialized treatment plans which are tested in clinical sessions before being implemented by direct care staff and, eventually, by their families. Additionally, she works with an interdisciplinary team to establish any other goals that they may be able to work on or aide with behaviorally.
