Bahijah first inquired about Rider because she loved horses. She was initially drawn to Rider because of the Bronc mascot, but soon discovered more about what it had to offer! During the inquiry process, Bahijah found everyone she met to be so kind and helpful that she decided Rider was the place for her to embark on her educational journey.
I find myself doing what I do now because of my passion and love for the science and also the support I had from teachers during my studies at Rider."

Rider's impact on Bahijah's career
Originally from Ghana, Bahijah faced many challenges by choosing to study in the U.S. With the excellent support system of admissions counselors, her advisors and her professors, Bahijah was able to discover her passion and love for Applied Psychology. She now encourages all international students to explore their options and raves about the support system at Rider. Bahijah was a graduate assistant for Dr. Mack Costello during her time at Rider. The research they developed during their time together was published and helped Bahijah gain credibility in the field of Applied Psychology. She learned diverse ways of using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) which she continues to use in her professional career today.
