Why did you join SGA?
I decided to join SGA because of the professional development and leadership opportunities that were provided while being apart of SGA. I also wanted to be an advocate for the students and have a part in our university’s projects.
Why do you bleed Cranberry?
My Rider pride runs deep through my involvement on campus along with my deep-rooted passion for community. Rider provides students with the resources and knowledge they need to exceed proceeding graduation.
The close-knit community Rider has is what drew me to its core; through the student-to-student and student-to-faculty relationships, there are so many ways you can benefit from being a Rider Bronc.
What diversity, equity, and inclusion mean to you?
The pillars of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are pivotal right now for those our age. We are in the age of progression and advancement regarding DEI, and it is ever-so important to prioritize DEI in university and student affairs. We should be focusing on embracing diversity within our community instead of having prejudice against others.
Every single student on campus should have access and opportunity to advance themselves while attending Rider University, and I encourage you to take use of the resources and communities available to you on campus.
What are your favorite spots on campus?
My favorite spots on campus are The Campus Green along with the Student Recreation Center. Both of these spots are prosperous areas for students to unwind and get the well-deserved time to themselves they need.
What is your mantra for this year?
My mantra for this year is Progress > Perfection. You don’t have to be at 100% every day. As long as you improved 1%, you will have fulfilled your goal for the day.
