Mary Elizabeth Latorre is a teacher, pianist and collaborative artist at Westminster Conservatory. While still performing she spends much of her time teaching private and group piano as well as early childhood classes. Her students participate in recitals and festivals with the Music Teachers National Association and the Royal Conservatory Music Development Program, many receiving Certificates of Excellence and First Honors with Distinction. She teaches all levels of piano for the Conservatory.
She has performed as soloist and collaborative pianist on WNYC, at Carnegie Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Kaufmann Concert Hall, National Grand Opera and the Metropolitan Opera Guild.
