Biography
Elizabeth Moore, an active pianist, educator, and conductor, has a particular love for commissioning and collaborating with composers. She also has a great love for community music making. She made her New York debut in William Mayer’s A Death in the Family at The Manhattan New Opera Project. Beth has played in and/or prepared singers for performance at The White House, David Geffen Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, Off-Broadway, and Carnegie Hall. She teaches choir, piano, and music theory at Central Regional High School. At Westminster she has taught private piano, group piano lessons, and summer try it out/piano camps. She is currently teaching theory, chamber music, and masterclasses in the Honors Music Program, as well as running the Monthly Student Recitals. She has collaborated with organizations such as Plays in the Park, Queens Symphony, Spring Lake Community House, Van Zandt/Milmore Productions, NJ All Shore/All State Chorus, St Rose of Lima Freehold, MidAmerica Productions, The Rock n Roll Chorus, Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, and The Princeton Girl Choir. She was selected as a quarterfinalist for A Grammy Music Educator Award. Beth has degrees from Westminster Choir College, Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, and additional studies from The Aspen Music Festival and School.
