Biography
Cherrish Hudgins is a first-year graduate student at Rider University. She recently became the Graduate Assistant for the CDI, Fall 2023. She graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelors in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology and Africana World Studies. Her higher education experience started with being a Resident Director (RD) for The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). Cherrish recently served as an intern for the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE). She aspires to obtain her Masters in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education, with the hopes of helping students achieve their dream college experience. During her undergraduate experience, she held the position as President of Sisters for Awareness, Black Leadership, and Equality on William Paterson’s campus. Being a part of this club has strengthened her advocacy for diversity and inclusion initiatives. She was also a Peer Leader, Orientation Leader, and Resident Assistant (RA). These positions have allowed her to work with a diverse group of students and aid in the students' accommodation to campus life.
