Dr. Bosah Ebo is an award-winning Professor in the Department of Communication, Journalism and Media at Rider University. He teaches Communication Ethics, Intercultural Communication, International Communication, and Communication, Culture and Media. He also teaches Communication and Gender in the Gender and Sexuality Studies Program. Previously, Dr. Ebo was the Director of the Multicultural Studies Program at Rider University, where he taught Race, Class and Gender; and Power and Privilege in a Multicultural Society. Dr. Ebo has also taught in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at Rider University, and was the Director of the Minorities Journalism Workshop at Rider University. He served as the President of Phi Beta Delta, Honor Society for International Scholars at Rider University. His professional experiences include working as a researcher for the Carnegie Foundation For The Advancement of Teaching at Princeton University.
Dr. Ebo’s research interests are in the areas of Digital Divide, Sociology of Media and International Communication. He has published two books and co-published one book, and has published and presented over 40 articles at national and international conferences.
Dr. Ebo has served as an External Examiner for Doctoral Dissertation for Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia, and as Editorial Board Member for The American Communication Journal. He has served as a Manuscript Referee for the Journal of Computer Mediated Communication, The Harvard International Journal of Press/Politics, Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, Canadian Journal of African Studies (University of Montreal) and Pine Forge Press. Dr. Ebo has served on research paper panels for the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), International Communication Association (ICA), and Eastern Communication (ECA).
