Dr. Haywood-Sullivan has been a member of the Rider Community since 2001. She teaches Cost Management and Managerial Accounting courses as well as Accounting Information Systems. In May 2005, she received the University Award for Distinguished Teaching. She has also been recognized as an Outstanding Student Advisor.
Her research is primarily in the areas of balanced scorecard, ethics education and behavioral accounting. Her work has appeared in Issues in Accounting Education, Journal of Contemporary Business Issues, Strategic Finance, and Journal of Data Warehousing. She has presented her research at the annual and regional meetings of the American Accounting Association. She is a member of the American Accounting Association and the Institute of Management Accountants. Her research interests include balanced scorecard, decision strategies and ethics education. Her teaching interests include cost management, managerial accounting and accounting information systems.
