Ahmad Mojiri holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Ottawa, Canada. He received his M.Sc. and B.Sc. in mathematics from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran. Dr. Mojiri’s primary research interests are algebras and ring theory and in particular representations of algebras. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals such as Journal of Algebra and Communications in Algebra.
Dr. Mojiri is an associate professor and chair of the department of mathematics at Rider University. Prior to joining Rider, he was chair of the mathematics department at Saint Xavier University in Chicago.
He is enjoying his current role as chair, as well as several research projects in addition to teaching various courses in mathematics including modern algebra, and calculus. When not doing mathematics, he enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling with his wife and twin boys.
