A community-based writing experience for educators from pre-k through college to explore the craft of writing, teaching and leadership

Embark on a journey as a writer and educator through the Rider University Writing Project Summer Institute. Join us for a dynamic three-week program with a supportive writing community where you can share personal works, explore research topics, receive valuable feedback, and rediscover the joy of teaching and learning. Our institute not only cultivates your writing and teaching skills but also fosters leadership development, empowering you to share your expertise with the wider educational community.
- Dates: Monday through Thursday, July 21 to August 7, 2025

What to expect
- Develop your writing, teaching and leadership skills
- Explore a research topic of your choosing that will shape your upcoming school year
- Rekindle your love of learning and teaching
In addition to this three-week institute, participants are also invited to join us for continuity meetings throughout the school year. This will provide opportunities for you to demonstrate your chosen area of expertise and continue your professional growth and development with like-minded educators.
