A Rider University tradition since 1979, this annual event is held each September to welcome everyone back to campus with a free barbeque, live music, games, giveaways, beer garden (for the 21+ Broncs!) and more!
The rain site will be the Student Recreation Center.

About Cranberry Fest
First held on May 4, 1979, this event celebrates Andrew J. Rider, the University's namesake. According to legend, Rider introduced the cranberry to the Queen of England and hence she nicknamed him "The Cranberry King of New Jersey." Rider also owned a horse named Cranberry that he purchased in England. The link to the "Cranberry King" is also the basis for Rider's school colors of cranberry and white.
