When Rider University launched its ambitious, multi-year Transforming Students - Transforming Lives campaign in 2018, the world was a much different place. In these extraordinary times, the need to educate the next generation has never been more important. Our campaign priorities are designed to ensure the University’s continued vibrancy and long-term stability, and allow us to continue to bring out the very best in our students.
Campaign Priorities
I. Building Rider's endowment
Currently about 33% of students pursuing a degree at Rider are the first in their families to attend college. These students often have fewer financial resources to rely on for college funding. Endowed scholarships help by ensuring that every student who has earned admission to Rider is able to attend.
II. Investing in our campus
Refreshing Rider’s more than 60-year-old campus requires lots of TLC and continual upgrades to residence halls, classrooms, labs and sports facilities. The campaign supports a vision of a living and learning environment that inspires creativity, builds camaraderie, enhances instruction and encourages collaboration through the funding of new construction and the modernization of existing buildings.
III. Strengthening Rider's Annual Fund
