Why did you join SGA?
I joined SGA because I wanted to give people who look like me the opportunity to see and connect themselves with positive representation. To advocate for opportunities to build student morale to create a more inclusive environment within our clubs/organizations.
Why do you bleed Cranberry?
I bleed cranberry because of the many doors of opportunities Rider has given, through leadership, diversity and academics. These experiences have shaped my student experience and transformed me into a person who further inspires the future Rider Broncs.
What diversity, equity, and inclusion mean to you?
Intentionally seeing each and hearing each other. It means one step forward to significantly advocate for all forms of identity, such as age, country of origin, (dis)abilities, economic background, education level, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, immigration status, political views, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation and veteran status, among others. Intentionally seeing each and hearing each other, ensuring justice.
What are your favorite spots on campus?
My favorite spots are the SGA Office in the Student Leadership Suite (SLS), the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI), 107.7 The Bronc Radio Station, and Cranberry’s
What is your mantra for this year?
“Get Into Good Trouble” Inspired by a quote by John Lewis made on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama on March 1, 2020 commemorating the tragic events of Bloody Sunday. “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and redeem the soul of America.” made this statement.
