Biography
My name is Richard Felicetti and I am currently completing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Ph.D.) at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Having been born and raised in New Jersey, I am excited to be a part of Rider’s campus community. Prior to my arrival here, I worked as a counselor at Monmouth University and Ramapo College. I also worked at a community clinic in Hackensack, NJ, where I served the general public’s mental health needs. My therapeutic areas of interest include identity development, managing interpersonal relationships, fostering problem-solving skills, and promoting self-care. I also have experience working with Division I student-athletes and am excited to work with Rider’s athletics department this year. My future goals include continuing to provide therapy to college students, working with athletes, teaching academic courses, and perhaps opening a small practice. In my spare time, I enjoy cinema, cooking, reading, and outdoor activities!
