How Suhriti Sarangal found her #HomeAtRider: "I chose Rider for multiple reasons, the faculty, class size, beautiful campus and unity, to name a few. The first time I visited Rider, I saw all the students, professors and staff smiling and greeting, it felt like home. Moreover, the class size makes it easier to build strong connections and contacts with your peers and professors. There are many fond memories of mine at Rider, however, one that will always be close to my heart is being invited to the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. In a course that I took at Rider in my junior year, students researched and presented arguments on an individual/organization that they would like to nominate for the Nobel Prize 2022. The candidate that won in our class got nominated by us for the Nobel Prize 2022 and the nomination letter was sent to the Nobel Committee. We as a class not only nominated a candidate but also had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Asle Toje, a member of the Nobel Committee. Along with that, four students, including myself, were invited to the Nobel week. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I never thought a college course could bring to me! If you are looking for a university where you can feel at home, be a part of a family, attend all sorts of events and just have a great, memorable time, of course all this in addition to quality education, Rider is the university for you!"
