Dr. Prol’s primary areas of research interests are interprofessional education, faculty resources, and socialization to the nurse practitioner role. Dr. Prol has been a certified family nurse practitioner since 1997 and maintains her clinical practice in primary care. She is active in the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) Distance Education special interest group and serves as the treasurer of the Organization of Colleges of Nursing-New Jersey.
