Kathy Shanklin is the director of music at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Bridgewater, NJ and an accompanist at Temple Beth’el in Hillsborough, NJ. Ms. Shanklin also serves on the faculty at Westminster Conservatory. In October 2004 she was a rehearsal accompanist for the first production of Peter Westergaard’s opera Moby Dick. Formerly she was staff accompanist for Opera Festival of New Jersey and June Opera, music director of the Princeton Ballet School and a member of the piano faculty at The Lawrenceville School. She has degrees in music from Western Illinois University and Indiana University at Fort Wayne and has completed classes and recitals for a master’s degree in accompanying at Westminster Choir College.
