Program overview

Students pursuing Rider’s cybersecurity minor will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to identify and analyze cybersecurity risks and take action to mediate those risks. These skills include the implementation of policies and procedures as well as the ability to implement technical solutions to manage the risk of cybersecurity threats.

Course requirements

This 24-credit minor aligns with the latest national guidelines, adaptable to meet the evolving demands of industry and research.  Learn the fundamentals of IT and computer science while learning how to protect against cyber threats with courses such as cybercrime and cyberterrorism.
