A festival highlighting cultural expression and creativity through performance.
Tapestry at Rider presents "Weaving Through Cultures." This virtual, diversity arts festival will feature performances from professional musicians and dancers representing various cultures and genres. Genres included represent Americana, Southeast Asian, Caribbean and Latinx cultures.
Additionally, there will be trivia games where participants can win gift cards in the amounts of $100, $150 and $200.

The Tapestry Initiative is designed to engage Rider University students in unique media learning and teaching opportunities, including filmmaking, opinion, journalistically impactful reporting, and community educational presentations that foster reflection of the cultural and life experiences of underrepresented populations.
Tapestry welcomes any Rider University student who has a passion for and a willingness to learn about the stories of those in underrepresented populations through journalistic research and media programming.
